Overall the premise of this book was good/scary/whatever. It was a lot of telling not showing and the story overall felt very choppy and relies heavily on celebrity personas and lazy characterizations of celebrity personas. My biggest issue was the use of the female characters in the book. They seem to only exist as tropes to support the male characters or “progress the plot”. Maybe this issue stems from the general lack of character development? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll give it a solid meh
