Listen - I put off reading this book for a long time. But oh my god. It is so spectacularly good and addicting. I couldn’t put the goddamn book down. I’ll admit the beginning was rough and the world building was a lot to take. There were some cringy moments. But for the most part it was just Interesting and engaging. Say what you want about Maas she is a good writer and has the best plot twists. You never see them coming because she does such a great job at hiding them. As a Maas reader you get used to learning the truth after the characters already have- which make the surprise more fun and exciting. 

Now if you excuse me, I have the sequel waiting for me.
