A Devil and Her Love Song, Volume 1 by Miyoshi Tomori

4.0

Main character is a welcome change to the usual shoujo tropes - a strong woman that does not mince her words and does not need saving. It is a very enjoyable story, with interesting characters and relationships. It makes references to a couple of well known songs, which makes it easy to feel the music when the main character sings. There are a few points that I really did not like near the end,
SpoilerI particularly disliked how the author tried to portray a child rapist as a sympathetic character, and also did not like how the main character lost all her confidence when dealing with her love interest
keeping it from becoming my new favorite.
