The Night and Its Moon by Piper C.J.

2.0

My original rating for this book was 3 stars because I enjoyed the characters, but upon further thought I cannot honestly give it that. The scenes in this book are so overwritten, it makes you feel as though you’re dragging your feet through the story. The romance between our two protagonists is very rushed, and seemingly comes out of nowhere. It seems as though in the beginning they’re raised and have an understanding as sisters, and then all of a sudden Nox is touching herself to the thought of Amaris? Who she hasn’t seen since she was a little girl, by the way. I bought all 3 books preemptively unfortunately, so I’ll have to read the remaining two eventually but I am not looking forward to it & will most likely donate them when I’m finished. I hope the writing gets better because this story has a lot of potential.
