Love in the Time of Serial Killers by Alicia Thompson

3.5/5⭐️ “I don’t regret giving you my heart, Phoebe. I just wish you’d taken more care with it.”
Sam was such an amazing book boyfriend!! But something isn’t their relationship was lacking. The vibes were what I needed but there was something missing, and I think it had something to do with Phoebe. Once I got to the 85% mark I genuinely didn’t think they would end up together or even be good together. They wanted such different things. Sam made it known so many times how much he loved Phoebe and cared for her. Whereas I honestly couldn’t tell if Phoebe felt the same. Phoebe was a pretty unlikeable main character. They were so underdeveloped. I was hoping Sam would get with someone that could actually express emotions, someone like me…just kidding… But actually he gave so much and she gave the bare minimum and he was SO SWEET, I felt bad.
