With all due respect, I loathed this book. I’m sorry this book is just way too overhyped and I haven’t even watched the shows. Maybe the movie and/or the show is/are good. But the way this book portrays Emma sorry I’m not into it. I was constantly confused over why two characters who have so much against each other are forced to like each other in this book. The writing is really dry like it definitely did a great job in replicating a mundane life but to go through that as a reader ? Sorry I’m out. Also I feel like that particular event didn’t need to happen in this book cause why can’t two misfits face each other for the rest of their lives? Why do we need that tragic point to make it look like this book had a deep meaning. Nah uh. Also don’t listen to the audiobook. The narrator voice will kill you before the book does. (Again with all due respect)
