Blankets by Craig Thompson

4.0

Studying the graphic novel for a course I am taking. This book is written for teens/adults. It is heartbreaking and painfully honest. Craig Thompson describes it as fiction based on personal experience. I could not put it down. I have read that religion is the last taboo in YA lit. Thompson takes on the issue head-on in this work. He also covers sibling relationships, first love, and parental expectations.
