honestly my bad for picking this up, i should've been able to tell just from the title that there would be a ton of pop culture references in here. and there were 😭 that's one of the main reasons why i didn't enjoy this that much. the second reason is the style that just didn't resonate with me. and the last one is the messy plot. the character development at least was good, and so was the ending. this could've been a shorter book, though.
