fascinating and quiet, introspective and slow but still a quick one-sitting read. this hit a lot of beats for me: following the life and perspective of an artist, meditations on aesthetics and the pursuit of beauty, and an outsider watching the disintigration of someone else's life. really engrossing, it does everything you need it to in just under 4 hours of audio.
