Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.

I have heard such wonderful things about DWJ's writing and Howl's Moving Castle that I was excited when this was picked for a group read.  I was willing to go along for the first couple of parts, but the lack of structure and gaping plot holes that are just brushed aside remind me of an amateur being turned loose in the Doctor Who writers' room. I checked some reviews and realized that you either look past all of this to finish or you end up with a read that never really had a chance of making any sense. An online book ad called my name and I promptly put this down.
