I went into reading Verity thinking it was going to be like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It was so different, and much darker. I wish the author spent more time developing Jeremy and Low’s relationship, but she did a fantastic job describing Jeremy and Verity’s relationship. It was very chilling, and I was so disappointed at the end (
