Did not finish book. Stopped at 78%.
Maybe I’ll return to this someday. I don’t think it’s bad, but the sexual assault plot and the entire character of Alice made me extremely uncomfortable. I think it easily could have done without, and would have made a really interesting story about the infamous “one last job”. Also every mention about the impending shutdown due to the real-world Coronavirus made me roll my eyes. I lived it, I don’t need to read about it in a fictional novel.
