Shattered Fears by Ulff Lehmann

5.0

I've compared the other books in this series to a chess game and to a woven tapestry with all the threads making a great picture. These both hold true and perhaps are even better with this book.

This is the continuation of the earlier books, with details and characters furthered in a way that makes them all the more interesting and great to read. Every chapter helped to illuminate a piece of the puzzle even further (and I know more details, having talked with Ulff about things that I can't reveal). By the time I got to the end, everything was both more intriguing and falling into place.

Also, the ending! Oh my, that ending was great.

A well done dark fantasy novel with excellent pacing, great characters, a plot to keep you reading and wanting more. Definitely on my best books for 2020 list.
