(THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE WHOLE SERIES)

It's been some time since I've read this series. I finished it and I couldn't think about anything else, couldn't focus on anything else. I just needed some time to get used to the idea that this is the end, that there's no more of this world.

Now, when I'm trying to write this review, I can't remember where exactly each book started and ended. It's one big story in my heart.

So, I've read "Angelfall" six years ago. All I remember from that time is that I really liked the book and I wanted to buy the whole series before reading the second book. Who knows why I didn't read them when I bought the books but I regret it so hard. This series is amazing and it forever holds a big and special place in my heart.

My reread of "Angelfall" was a bit slow because I mostly knew the story and I only got a few details I had forgotten. But by the end of the book I was hooked all over again and ready to jump into the next book.

The writing is so easy to read once you fall into the world of Penryn. The pages fly as you unfold the story and it's just so easy to get sucked in and lost in these books.

I love the whole idea of this apocalyptic world. Angels coming to earth, showing that they're not the good godly creatures humanity thought. The struggles and fights that humans have, the bigger angels' politics scheme that's behind the whole invasion. With the first book, I didn't expect it to be that deep but here we are. All the plot's twists and turns were amazing.

What I love a lot about this series is Penryn. She's a simple teenage girl and her mission is to save her sister and protect her family. Even after she meets the hot guy and falls for him, even after all they both go through, she keeps that mission in the first place to the end. She doesn't let love change her course and I love and respect that. I think that this is the best example of enemies to lovers I've read.

There's this part close to the end of the last book when they kiss and they know that once they pull away, they'll be on different sides. It breaks my heart but I love that pain. The romance in this series is so beautifully written and intertwined with the plot in a way that's not overwhelming. What can I say? For me, everything in this series is so perfect.

I wish there was more of this world but the end was well done. I kinda didn't expect it after everything but im happy and satisfied.

If there's one thing I really want to say about this series it's - just give it a chance
