Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

as someone who walked away content with my time in the first one, i felt that every positive aspect from book one was not only ignored, but removed in this sequel. my gripes with the first one only free, and the lessons i felt the characters walked away with were utterly ignored making the already minimal impact from book one obsolete.
