Still a super cute read- but I missed some of the elements from the first novel, such as the hotel setting and exploration of the staff dynamics. This installment focuses more on Goldie herself, her relationship with her mom, and her friendship with Cheryl. I didn't connect at all to the plot, but still zoomed through this because of the beautiful, fun art style and cute vibe.
