I can’t get enough of this series! I love historical fiction so the early 1900s vibe feeds my soul. But what I love most is the tweek on certain dynamics of that time. Emily being a tenured professor at Cambridge and equally respected to wonderful. Seeing how much Wendell adores her even though she hasn’t answered his proposal is so sweet. His patience and love for her is adorable!

The world building and faerie lore expanding is so fascinating. I’m a sucker for the little creatures, even if they are murderous.
