Foxfire: Confessions of a Girl Gang by Joyce Carol Oates

3.0

I am a sucker for stories about sisterhood, women exhibiting loyalty to each other and sticking together no matter what. This book was a quick and immersive read about teenage girl comradeship and men being trash. Issues I had with the book: white feminism and racism. Racism honestly did not have to be in this book. It added absolutely nothing to the story so I have no idea why Oates decided to include it at all.
