In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
3.0
This book has been sitting on my bookshelf for years, and I was looking to read something fast-paced and short. Then I read the back of the book. It was so interesting—how the main character was dreaming of herself five years in the future with another guy, even though she had just gotten engaged to her current boyfriend. Fast forward to four and a half years later, she met the guy from her dream...
I started reading the book blindly and was rather shocked that the story is mainly not about romance. It's about her friendship with her best friend, her job, and her relationship with her fiancé. My expectations were high, and I was excited to see what she would do as the days counted down to the day her dream was supposed to happen. So yeah, the ending sucked. Maybe I hate it. Could've been better.
