A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher

Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.
DNF'ing this so hard at page 65.

Not satisfied with a protagonist with an attachment to animals, recently out of a relationship visiting an old (for the U.S) family property, whose phone has now stopped working (just like in  The Twisted Ones and The Hollow Places) she has gone into a coffee shop to get some wifi and well, well, well there's a goth/alt barista. Just like in The Twisted Ones and The Hollow Places.

Kingfisher is an absolute hack, even if What Moves the Dead is good.
