Bingo Love by Tee Franklin

A very sweet and nice cartooned tale of two teenage women who fall in love in the 1960's only to be abruptly separated and then reunited decades later. There's not a lot of depth here (although the book does take some pains to discuss the dissolution of one woman's marriage), but I'm not sure depth was a goal.

However, I found it absolutely frustrating that some (minor) plot points were shunted off into spin off titles and advertised in the book. For example, there's a critical discussion between a main character and her husband. At one point, the husband has a revelation to disclose, but instead of appearing in the graphic novel, there's an asterisk leading to a footnote that the revelation can be found in a digitally released story. Ick.
