Be More Chill by Ned Vizzini

3.0

jeremy is one of those invisible nerds who lurks around in the background, quietly lusting after beautiful girls in his class and dreaming of a better life. then he gets the squip- a tiny computer in capsule form that, when swallowed, advises the user on how to become cool. jeremy is able to change his friends, appearance, walk and (most importantly, he thinks) chances of getting a girl's attention. but can a computer really change everything?

this was an entertaining twist on the normal "Be Careful What You Wish For/Perils Of Popularity" storyline. kind of sci-fi lite. it made me laugh, though maybe not as much as vizzini's other books. and on that note, dear mr. vizzini, please write another book soon.
