Lizzie McKettrick is a school teacher headed home to surprise her wealthy family for Christmas. Avalanche vs. train causes a delay in their arrival. With Dr. Shane on board the train, he quickly jumps into action to render aid to the stranded injured passengers. Will they make it home in time for Christmas?
This book kept me wanting to read page after page the entire time. I enjoyed how you learned a little bit of information about everyone on the train throughout the story. Lizzie's faith in her family helped her muddle through every situation on the train. Whitley's selfishness drove me a little crazy. And the kids on the train, oh how I hoped that St. Nicholas would visit them on the train. Dr. Shane was brave, bold and realistic. This story was the perfect mix of romance, suspense, and the spirit of Christmas.
If you enjoy the McKettrick series this one will not disappoint.
