The Bodyguard by Katherine Center

4.0

You have to love a book that takes a stereotypical career such as being a bodyguard and turns it upside down. Having Hannah who looks like a Kindergarten teacher actually be a bodyguard and is hired to protect Jack, an A-List superstar was super funny. Even though Jack may be rich and famous he’s had a tough few years and stepped back from the limelight. Now his mom is sick and he goes home to help take care of her, but with a stalker and press he’s going to need all the protection he can get. But when Jack doesn’t want his family to know his problems he convinces Hannah to be his fake girlfriend while visiting. As they spend time on the ranch, Jack and Hannah grow closer but family troubles looms around the corner and the stalker situation escalates. Hannah is great at her job but she’s not so great at protecting herself and her own feelings from interfering. This was such a cute story and a little emotional as well, all in all its great read!
