Wow! What a ride! I really enjoyed it! I also have quite a few complaints! But overall, a good book! I was engaged!
Liked a lot of the characters but did feel they could’ve used more (Moore, haha!) oomph. They were undercooked. But this did itch the scratch I’ve had with regards to NYC and I miss that stupid place and it was wodnerfulky rendered here.
The attitudes toward child prostitution (even by our narrator) were a little unfortunate but I guess Carr was trying to stay in sync with the times but then I ask I wonder about Sara.
I’d maybe read the sequel. Definitely gonna watch the TV show one day. Though I DO appreciate and what was that whole thing with Mary that was bollocks! Ending felt a bit contrived as well. OMG also classic wacky lab tech duo — miss you Price and Zeller!!! I miss you Hannibal this guy could never.
