An Unwanted Hunger by Ciana Stone

2.0

I have mixed feelings about this book. I really liked the tone that was set from the beginning and had no trouble getting into the story. I was pleasantly surprised when the story took a twist and turned out not to be entirely what I was anticipating. I even thought the draw between Constantine & Resa started out very believable. However, that's where it ended for me. The story seemed somewhat disjointed to me and developed into something less tangible. The chemistry between the couple was palpable, but I never felt their relationship became more than carnal. I never felt them building the undying love they professed for each other. The real conflict seemed to be just beginning as the book drew to a close. I am curious to see where the story will lead, so I am planning to give it a second chance with the sequel.
