Sue-Chan is a 17 year old tiger cat, happy to sleep most of the day away, until her owner is forced to take in a kitten, Tai-Chan, who doesn't want to sleep all day. What kitten would want to do that? She wants to play and play and play.
So this volume is about that. Really, the whole book is ways that Tai-Chan tries to get Sue-chan to play when she wants to sleep.
It is cute, and very much keeping cat light, though we can read their thoughts. If you have ever had an older cat with a kitten, the antics are very familiar.
