The second was actually I feel like better than the first! We got to see some real development with Ash and Lir as well! The main and side characters continued to grow on me and a few already have soft spots for me. I love the way the author writes so much as well, everything is so descriptive and emotional and it's like a painting coming alive. I need the next book asap!
