The Stopover, by T.L. Swan

Reread:

I started this initially (the second time) through the audiobook form but I’m trying to reach 100 books by the end of the year so I decided to read the rest. It def wasn’t as enjoyable as the first time. I’d prob change my review to 3 stars but I do still like the book. I think. The narrator for Emily was really annoying in the audiobook format. She sounded like she was reporting or reciting something and it didn’t make the book v enjoyable. I think because of that, her and Jameson’s fights just seemed more toxic. I started reading it at the point where she gets set up and I skimmed that part because it makes me mad how Jameson doesn’t wanna listen to her and hurts my heart how desperate and heartbroken Emily is. I like how they get back together though. Anyways, it was nice to read this book again. It was the first spicy book I read and I’ve read many since, so it was interesting to reread the book that started it all. V tame I’m comparison to some of the ones I’ve read but I love the love story.
