I truly truly enjoyed the dynamics between Constanta, Magdalena, and sweet sweet Alexi—it overshadowed everything and the love they held for each other proved to be so true and rich and loving. I did not particularly care for every aspect of this book, however, as i unfortunately and very unfairly hated the use of You. I completely understood the context of why it was used and i don’t think it could have been written any other way, i simply just didn’t mesh with it the way i believed i would. But i think it was done well, and Constanta’s growing into herself is breathtaking every step of the way. I feel deep affection for the love between them ❤️
