Wow. I enjoyed this more than the first book. I really love all the relationships (platonic or otherwise) in this book. And the war beasts, I love them (esp. Kirune).
I will say, though, I did feel a little confused with Hestilions motivations. I definitely missed something in this book or maybe even book one. Regardless, seeing what happens with her was a, not-surprising, wild ride.
Excited to see what happens with everyone in the final book!
