Silver Screen Fiend: Learning about Life from an Addiction to Film by Patton Oswalt

informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

4.25

This was a little different for a memoir for me. Patton tells of his early career through the lens of his movie addiction during that time. It's an approach I'm not sure that I've seen, and it obviously was an issue for him that he needed to deal with. I just never thought about people being addicted to movies before. It make sense. Just because something is generally harmless (movies) doesn't mean that they can't become harmful. Good read, if for nothing else then listening about the comedy scene in the 90s.
