This sci-fi horror classic reads like a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode, and I loved it for that! The imagery is challenging at first to follow but becomes increasingly more vivid as the harrowing tale of despair continues on. I can’t recommend enough the audio reading by the author himself, who delivers the story with rigorous emotional depth and intensity. It is a captivating performance of an equally captivating tale that left me melancholy and satisfied.
