Will by Will Smith, Mark Manson

funny lighthearted relaxing medium-paced

4.5

I definitely recommend this as an audio book because there's a little bit of added music (not a lot) and he does impersonations of people. It's a very engaging and entertaining listen. While I don't agree with all of his viewpoints, he explains his perspective well. It came across as a very sincere and honest look at his life, the good and the bad. It was organized and flowed well, which is a challenge for some memoirs.

Yes, he comes across as arrogant and out of touch sometimes, but that seems inevitable given his successes. Somehow all wealthy people forget what it's like to be a povvo, but he's still not a dick about it. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend the audio version.

P.S. He never talked about the Oscars slap because it was written before that happened, in case you were hoping to hear about that.
