This book was addicting like all of the CoHo books I have read. Had some obvious predictably to it, but also a lot of twists I did not see coming. I loved the characters, and how diverse they were. Learning about their different paths and how they shaped who they had become and why they make the choices they make. Very powerful book that highlights poverty vs wealth and the drug epidemic going on. The book also powerfully highlights the assumptions we make about people before knowing their stories and how flawed the justice system can be.
