What's Left of Me by Hannah Bird

5.0

Synopsis: In this follow-up to The End and Then, we have the pleasure of following Zoey on her journey of healing and self-discovery as she grapples with past trauma and learns that she is deserving of love.

Thoughts: If you like a strong and confident female main character, you will love Zoey! Zoey’s character is strong, loyal and honest, but she’s got a lot of depth as well. Hannah does an amazing job of writing Zoey’s emotions in a way that feels realistic for someone recovering from trauma. It’s easy to root for her on her journey to recovering from past events and finding true happiness. This story will have you feeling for Zoey and rooting for her and Aaron, who is a fabulous book boyfriend. And I can’t leave out the cast of friends and family who make this small-town setting really come to life. I also enjoyed that there was a bit of mystery/suspense added into the story. Definitely add this one to your TBR!
