This is the second book in the Cottonwood Cove series by Laura Pavlov. It follows Georgie Reynolds (Hugh’s sis from book 1).

Plot:
Georgie has recently graduated from college and lands an assistant position for the new Billionaire in town at his publishing company. He’s a total d*ck if we’re honest. Maddox is no nonsense and no fun. And he has an instant and begrudging attraction to Georgie.

I really enjoyed the characters emotional growth and development. But I do feel like there was a bit more focus on weight put on developing Maddox rather than Georgie. The banter and dialogue between the Reynolds siblings is 🔝 But there were a few lines from Maddox that made me cringe. I loved the nickname he had for her 🥹
