This book was a lot steamier than I thought! I also don't know that I've ever read a M/M romance before and the way the characters fell for each other really kept me invested in their relationship. I went into this book pretty blind but honestly the illustration on the cover made me pick it up.

I love that Wardell adds in the awkwardness of having anxiety and finding love and I felt like it was so honest. Marvin has some serious anxiety and I think it's an accurate representation. This book also has great Jewish representation! I myself is not Jewish so I would refer more to a review from a Jewish person for the accuracy but I thought it was woven in very well.

I love Marvin & Jill's friendship so much! I also really appreciated the relationship between Isabella and Olan. Romances often villainize the ex but Isabella's care and support for Olan and Marvin was so heartwarming.

I also loved that Marvin's job was a kindergarten teacher! It was cute but not too corny and added some funny moments to the plotline.

Thank you to Kate Rock Book Tours for sending me a copy of this book!
