Ivy Hayes comes from the same place as Dolly Parton. She reminded me that I have that place on my bucket list – will have to place it closer to the top. She could be considered a true entrepreneur since she started her business while still going to school. And working with friends is a nice perk. But on the flip side, what they do for a living seems to be sad even though in the long run they are helping people.

Becket Jones is man whose job could be considered totally opposite of Ivy’s. But where her job hurts someone, his entertains – ok his hurts too but his is physical where hers is mental. It was just so hard to imagine these two having things in common enough to start a relationship and then to maintain said relationship. But this is one good thing about our author – she somehow twists the story to show that it can work. She doesn’t give up on her characters.

I found myself coming to enjoy the secondary characters here. Becket has a couple of nieces that know just what to do when it comes to scene stealing. Then we have a couple where the wife thinks that Ivy will be perfect for her friend. It left me wanting to go back and read their book, He Loves Me…Knot, again. This was one downside for me. I started looking out for the secondary characters to carry this story along. And I had such high hopes for Becket after meeting him previously. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I got the perfect happy ending.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
