This was my second time reading this novel. I had first read the eBook a year or two ago and felt like picking it back up to refresh my memory of this beautiful story. Alice is a successful professor at Harvard with three loving adult children and an equally successful husband. Her life is turned upside down when she learns she has early-onset Alzheimer's.I loved the way Genova weaves facts and education on the matter with these fictional family struggles. It is not an easy read in that there is a lot of emotion, and it makes you truly take stock of how you would handle the same situation if this were someone you loved or even yourself. I highly recommend this read, with the warning that you will cry and you will get angry, but it is all worth it.
