Pip Fitz-Amobi has a new true-crime podcast about a murder case that she solved a few months ago. She insists her detective days are behind her but when someone close to her goes missing she will have to go back to those detective days. I thought that this was a really good sequel and I couldn't put it down. Holly Jackson really has a knack for elegant thrillers. I definitely couldn't have guessed the ending, and it was so well written. I will never stop loving Pip and Ravi's relationship, and all the characters are so well written and intricate. I really loved how each new mystery kept me hooked. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a thriller, although it can get a bit graphic at times.
Graphic: Death, Drug use, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Grief, Murder, and Fire/Fire injury
Moderate: Cancer, Child death, Rape, Xenophobia, and Injury/Injury detail
