I can’t say that I enjoyed this book but at the same time, I can’t say that I hated it.
It took me a lot longer to finish than I had thought, but that’s mainly because I found it hard to get into.

I enjoyed the concept of the book. However, I felt that it fell short in its execution.

I could partially relate to the FMC but not enough that I felt invested in knowing more about her or her hobbies ETC. She had a bad habit of repeating herself or actions. “He’s so cold to the touch,” “he’s so attractive,” “placed my hand where his heartbeat would’ve been.” Yes, we get it…
The MMC was more tolerable, but I feel that is basically because the book is written completely in our FMC’s POV.

I did not enjoy the ending, or the last few pages leading up to it.
I feel the author wrote herself into a situation she wasn’t sure how to get herself out of, and it just felt flat. Although the story ties off almost all the aspects of the story, it always just feels like they didn’t all intertwine well with each other, but that may also have been because of my inability to become in invested in the story.

For those who want to know which piece I felt was not tied off please see below:
So, as we reach the conclusion of the book we don’t really ever get the answer of if she turned or not. It is basically left at “I’ll think about it.”

Overall, not the best but not the worst.
Based off of the writing and storytelling I don’t think I’ll be picking up this author again.
