There were points in this book where I really got drawn in by the sharpness of the prose. The writing is engaging! However, I didn’t super dig the fact that the main characters didn’t get names. 

I’m not super well versed in magic realism, so I had a bit of a hard time knowing what I was meant to be taking as canon.
