How to Be a Well-Paid Freelance Blogger: Earn $50-$100 a Post and More by Sean Platt, Carol Tice, Greg Ciotti, Annabel Candy

4.0

There are definite upsides and downsides to this book, but overall I found it to be an excellent resource. The downsides are that the book seems to have been transcribed more than written. It is basically five conversations—likely over Skype since the author mentions loving the service—that the author had with other experts. The conversations have that social meandering we all do when chatting. There are even conversational "yeah"s. Because of the conversational padding, I found myself wishing the author had compiled lists of the tips for me to bookmark at the end of every chapter. The upsides are that if you can wade through the transcript, there are fantastic pearls to be found and treasured, especially if you are interested in blogging for pay. As a book, I give it a ★★★☆☆, but I throw an extra star in there for all the excellent tips and suggestions.
