I liked getting to see more of the alien Rubyverse, but overall wasn't a huge fan of this. Especially because the death of one of the characters felt very contrived, and the actions that lead to it also very out of character. I know romance often contrives situations to get our couples where we want to see them, but in this particular case it just felt so super obvious.
