Well hot damn, consider me floored because it’s my second time reading this and I loved it even more this time around which I didn’t think was possible. It knocked me right back flat on my ass all over again, that’s how mind blowingly good it is. I knew going into it the first time that it was pretty much guaranteed I’d love it, I mean skeletons and bones and lesbian necromancers, how could you not love anything to do with that?! But I wasn’t expecting to be drawn in so deep to such a dark and beautiful world, it sucked me in and didn’t let go until it had ripped me to shreds. This book is just BEYOND stunning, it’s hard to review it without just completely gushing! It has snark and sass while being dark and gritty and actually quite terrifying at parts and it just totally consumed me. If there’s a bigger more potent word than love then THAT’S what I felt for this book, it just goes beyond words!
