Overall, this was a pretty cute coffee table book. The art was really cute and really fun. I really enjoyed Gudetama's drama and complaints. However, this book does not have much substance to it. It's cute, but it's not an actual novel about Gudetama, if that is what you're looking for (I wasn't). This is the perfect book to flip through in a waiting room, while you're having a longer bathroom excursion, or if you're just killing time.
