I think, in general, slower pacing really works for this story, but it's nice to finally be getting some "payoff" to things that have been brewing throughout the series so far.
This is a good plot-heavy chunk of chapters that finally reveals interesting things that have been building up to the season's end, and IMO it's a satisfying payoff! The characters' motivations make sense and it's nice to see how even when they make bad decisions, the reasons for those bad decisions are well-rooted.
As always, the art and coloring and character modeling is completely gorgeous too.
