The Battle for WondLa by Tony DiTerlizzi

3.0

"You are our herd. You are their flock. You are his family. You are the forest. You are the earth. We are one."

I didn't feel very excited in the first half of the book but then after my favourite character came into the story, things started to get better. There were for the first time typing faults in the book and the author made a contradiction that I, unfortunately, cannot let go off.

Sentence: "'Killing others is never right,' Eva said. 'Life is a gift given that none should take.'"

I mean, I love that quote, don't get me wrong. BUT. Wait a nano didn't she just ate a raw spider fish before that??? See, she totally contradicts herself. Not good in my book. Life is everywhere. My Point.

Besides that, I still love this series. Seriously. It's original and has some amazing diversity of life forms and animals. Even the 'invented things' that Tony made up are fantastic. I wish I had an Omnipod that could identify everything that I come would across.

So, If you love a futuristic world where aliens, strange unique animals and variety of life forms live together - this is your book.
