If you are young and broken up, You wont get a lot of good relationship advice from your friends who are young and stupid just like you. And if you are from India, you cant look towards your elders for help who are struggling more than you from their own toxic Arranged Marriages. If you look for Therapists in India - you will only find the bad ones since the good ones are fleeing the country causing India's "Brain Drain". And if you go in search of other heartbroken souls, you will only find smiling selfies that mask the inner sadness so well ! With no help in sight but memories of your ex constantly gaslighting you - this book is a god-send to help you put back your scrambled sanity !
There are hundreds of relationship stories to learn from and relate to. You can learn a lot of relationship mistakes you can avoid making yourself ! After 60-70% of the book, things start to feel repetitive and redundant. But i guess the messages are intentionally repeated to make sure the messages reach the reader for sure!
In the end, this book cant replace your friends. But it will help you to reduce the burden on them. You would learn to lean on them less and lean on the crutch more until you are back to health and can walk on your own !
